I never imagined I would build my life in Malaysia.

I grew up in the United States, but nearly two decades ago, what I thought would be a short adventure became a completely different life. Along the way, I married, raised three children, and built a business I never could have imagined.

Today, I’m the Founder and CEO of Batik Boutique, a seven-figure social enterprise that creates meaningful employment for women while producing beautiful handcrafted products for customers around the world. What started as a small idea has grown into an internationally recognized business and one of ASEAN’s leading inclusive enterprises.

People often see the awards, the business, or the impact.

What they don’t see are the years of uncertainty, mistakes, reinvention, difficult decisions, and learning to lead across cultures very different from my own.

Those experiences changed me.

They taught me that success isn’t something you accidentally discover. It’s something you intentionally design—often more than once throughout your life.

Today, many of the women I meet aren’t looking for another motivational talk. They’re accomplished, capable, and successful in many ways. But they’re asking new questions.

What’s next?

How do I create work that feels meaningful?

Can purpose and profitability coexist?

How do I build a life that reflects who I’ve become—not just who I’ve always been?

Those are the conversations I love most.

Whether I’m speaking to an audience, working one-on-one with a leader, or facilitating the Bejalai Leadership Circle, my goal is the same: to help women step back, see their lives with fresh perspective, and intentionally design what comes next.

I don’t believe you need to become someone different.

I believe your next chapter is built from everything you’ve already lived.

The experiences that challenged you.

The work that shaped you.

The relationships you’ve built.

The lessons you’ve learned.

My role isn’t to tell you what your life should look like.

It’s to help you uncover what matters most, create a practical path forward, and have the courage to build it.

Because I believe your best work may still be ahead of you.
